The dates for the 2010 Show are: September 25th and 26th. Entry deadline will be September 11th to be printed in the Show Program. American Royal
4H Showmanship & Obedience Dog Show
Date: Saturday, September 25, 2010
Where: American Royal, Kansas City, MO.
The Johnson County, KS 4H Dog Club, being the host club will host the Sixth Annual American Royal 4H Agility Dog Show. Check in will be at 10:30AM with the Veterinarian Check following at approximately 11AM. There will be no late or walk-in entries. NO REFUNDS after entry closing date. The show starts at 1 PM with the following classes.
Beginner Showmanship (4Hers 7-8yrs) Sub Novice A Obed. Sub Novice B Obed.
Junior Showmanship (4Hers 9-11yrs) Novice Obed. Graduate Novice Obed.
Intermediate Showmanship (4Hers 12-14yrs) Open A Obed. Open B Obed
Senior Showmanship (4Hers 15 and up) Utility A Obed. Utility B Obed.
All 4Hers must send a current copy of their dog’s vaccination with registration form. There is a $12.00 fee per class per dog, plus a $5.00 parking pass fee if ordered at time of registration. The pass will be mailed to you prior to the dog show. The Johnson Count 4H Dog Club will not benefit from any funds or fees paid. The registration and parking fees will be forwarded to the American Royal. Kansas State 4H Dog Show rules and guidelines will be followed. A Kansas State 4H certified judge will be used. All dogs entering must have had obedience training. The dog show is open only to current 4H members from any state.
1) No dog in season will be allowed to show.
2) No baiting is allowed.
3) Aggressive dogs will not be tolerated.
4) Abuse of dogs will result in disqualification.
5) Dogs MUST BE CRATED when not competing in ring.
6) Any dogs fouling the ring will receive a white ribbon.
7) Only the 4H exhibitor will be allowed to handle, groom and exercise the dog.
8) No parent will be allowed to address exhibitors about scoring. All questions must be addressed to show officials or judge after the show.
9) The Johnson County 4H Dog Club reserves the right to cancel any class due to less that five dogs registered in the class.
- A trophy and ribbon will be awarded to Grand Champion in each class with qualifying scores.
- A rosette and ribbon will be awarded to Reserve Champion in each class with qualifying scores.
- A ribbon will be awarded to each participate (purple, blue, red, white).
