Monthly Meeting
December 15, 2009
J Christmas party is this week. Need to bring gifts for your size of dog to exchange. We will exchange them in 2 circles- large dogs circle and small and medium circle. One gift per child, $5 limit.
J There will be ornament exchange limit $5. (white elephant).
J Everyone is to bring a dish. Club will provide drinks.
J We will play games- spoons, musical dogs (if You bring your dog you must have a crate), and red light green light.
J The Christmas committee has activities planed.
J We will be collecting donation for TLC. Megan Robinson will be taking the donations.
J Donation dog shelter such as dog food, newspaper, and old blanket.
J We will be electing one of the officier positions that needs to be re-filled.
J Enrollment form for dog training will be at meeting. Any question ask Wendy Karr
J Dog training starts February 18th thru April 29th
J Show up early to make cards for Meadowbrook or you may bring some pre-made cards if you would like to.

AGENDA
Need donations for local dog shelter such as dog food, newspapers, old blankets, and other dog supplies. The club will donate them in December. Please give to McLaughlins.
We donate clothing for TLC- children sized and women sizes- hats, coats, and other winter apparel.
Next month is the Christmas Party. We need a chairperson to take charge of the Christmas party committee and start the ball rolling. Will be sign up for persons who want to help plan the party at meeting.
The Officer will be presenting a thank you card to Jeff, manager of Gardner Price chopper at the meeting, for Quiz bowl donation of pop/water.
We need to sign up for comminutes this month. They will be on sign in table.
Election and install new club officer this month.

Sunday, February 21st – Agility training with dogs at fairgrounds (mandatory for everyone doing agility under 3 years of agility training) ** this date could be changed to Sunday, February 14th will keep posted.
Saturday (??? on date) – Clubs days at Springhill all day
Thursday February 25th – first day of dog training with dogs (a parent must be at every training) at green building at fairgrounds at 7:00pm
Thursdays until April 29th – are Training nights at green building at fairgrounds at 7:00pm

§ American Royal show was a great success. Thank you all for helping.
§ Quiz bowl is just around corner and practices have start. Contact Mrs. McLaughlin for times and place (sent an email already). Money is due at the meeting. Website below has a link to register for Quiz bowl.
§ Election and install new club officer this month.
§ Come at 6:30 pm to make cards for Meadowbrook visit. David Karr is leader for Meadowbrook community service.
§ All officer and record books, pin application also are all due to extension office Oct 12th . I need them the week before to turn into office so officers get their pins.
